WINTER SPRINGS, FL – The City of Winter Springs is proud to announce that the Winter Springs Mayor, Commission, and City Staff will be bringing the celebration to local neighborhoods for the Celebrate Freedom Parade!  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City’s regular Fourth of July event, Celebration of Freedom, was postponed to Labor Day weekend.  The neighborhood parade will be the City’s aim to keep the Independence Day celebrations a Winter Springs tradition.

Eight festively decorated vehicles will depart from the Winter Springs Police Department on July 2, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. and end at Trotwood Park at 8:30 p.m.  Rather than a parade with floats and bands, the City will have six trucks and two police cruisers featuring waves, smiles, cheers, and patriotic music for families and friends to enjoy from their own front yards.

The City will be releasing the parade route soon. We ask residents to clear the street of any vehicles, which may cause the route to shift. Please understand, due to vehicle size and navigation, we cannot get through each of our City’s neighborhoods. However, if you do not see your community on the parade route, residents will be able to view the parade from some public areas that will be listed with the route once it is available.
